Buffy walked through the lobby on her way to class. She saw all the prom stuff, and then she said, thoughtfully, "Hmmm", before moving on.

Yesterday's try didn't work, so Sokka tried a different tactic today. He just walked up to the table, set down his money, and said "Two, please."

"Okay," Layla said, reaching for the tickets before she remembered that she needed to check the list. "Are you a junior or a senior?" she asked politely.

Sokka raised his eyebrows at her. "The dance is only for juniors and seniors, right?" he asked. "And here I am trying to buy a ticket. So... Yeah. What do you think?"

Layla raised an eyebrow as well. "Well, it's not just for juniors and seniors. If you want to take a sophomore or a freshman, you can. What's your name?" she said, pulling out her list of juniors and seniors to check him off.
