4th floor common room, Friday morning

Jake wanted to catch an early Bitterwoman rerun, so he shuffled sleepily into the common room. He turned on the tv to make sure he didn't forget and then went to hover over the coffee maker. He'd brought his sailboat mug from his room, so he was standing with the mug on the ready for when the coffee was done.

Mac made a beeline for Jake when she wandered into the common room.

"I smell something of the good and caffienated variety," she said peering at the coffee maker over his shoulder.

Jake watched the machine closely as well. "It'll be done soon. Good morning," he added, turning his head to give her a grin.

"Morning," Mac returned with a smile back at Jake.

She then stopped with the hovering to see if she could dig out a mug from one of the cupboards. "Having you on the same floor as me really does have benefits," she commented cheerfully. "No longer am I the first person to think of coffee in the morning."

Jake laughed. "I wouldn't say I'm actually thinking yet. It's more going on instinct."
