New Apartments!
Sorry to spam your flists but there's a lot of information to get out before all the new students and adults arrive tomorrow (YAY *EXCITEDS*).
Anyway, as I'm sure you all remember from the summer semester, Xander Harris spearheaded a pretty big project in town: the renovation and reconstruction of the old Echolls mansion.
Well, that project was completed and thus, we can unveil Malchanceux Harris Apartments or MHA for short (and even MCA II since Xander's last name isn't Harris anymore!).
The new apartments are almost identical to MCA with a few minor exceptions which we'll get to.
First, MHA will have three floors with four apartments on each floor. With thanks to needsaparrot, this is the floor plan here. The basement apartment will look like this.
So, that's thirteen apartments including the basement and they are all open. The apartments are for the adults only, of course. And, if you can, find a roommate for roommate fun times! If not, don't worry about that either.
We're going with the same sort of numbering as MCA so the second floor will have apartments 1, 2, 3 and 4, the third floor will have apartments 5, 6, 7, 8 and the fourth floor will have apartments 9, 10, 11 and 12.. The basement will be numbered -1. There is a large apartment on the first floor (apartment 0) for the future IC landlord (which is an open position for future townies!) shown here.
There is also a pool as the former Echolls mansion contained a pool. Additionally, Logan Echolls, esteemed alumni, is going to act as an absentee landlord of sorts to the tenants. So, remember that if you have any plot ideas and run them by Logan's player.
To facilitate those that want to live in MHA, sometime tomorrow, a post will go up by me (or Fraser, most likely) for those that would like to rent to come in and rent. Remember, adults only!
