Leadership and Outdoorsmanship, Preserve Clearing, Thursday Morning
There was a table in the clearing, on which compasses, two copies of an island map, two clue sheets, two control cards, and written directions were laying in the open. Nimitz sprawled across the back of the table and watched with interested amusement as the students arrived.
Leadership and Outdoorsmanship:
First, please make sure to sign in. Once you’ve done this, collect a compass and divide into your groups. Each group gets a map and a control card. Complete the course marked on the map, stopping at each control flag to scan your card. I will meet you - with breakfast - at the end of the course.
Use your minicomps, compasses, and other conventional means. And always keep "leave no trace" in mind.
