Gym, afternoon

Tex moved into the locker room and eyed them for a moment. They were big enough, she decided and slun her assault rifle over her shoulder. Picking up one of the lockers effortlessly, she moved it in front of one of the windows.

Blair dragged empty boxes, tables, and containers over to the windows. He figured he could start barricading the windows first and what was left over could be burnt if they needed to start a fire. Looking over at Tex moving the locker he shrugged. "Good job, man."

He was keeping an eye on the outside, just in case it looked like a snow monster wanted to talk about demands or peace.

"Yeah, I'm a chick." Tex grumbled and slammed some a tread mill against the locker.

Aeryn's got some stuff on her, but as she knows she's going to be needing to share, there's a couple pulse pistols and quite a few knives (thanks Callisto) up for use.

"Ok, seeing how you and the other gun girl are the only ones around here with some brains. Think you can keep an eye on the door?" Tex asked Aeryn while lugging another locker around.

"On it," Aeryn tells her, already checking the charge on her pulse rifle.

Ivanova's eyes grew hard when she heard the news. Where was a pulse cannon when you needed one? She was out of the gym like a shot, raced all the way to the dorms and up to her room, then back down. For the sake of a PPG. It looked ridiculously tiny, but it could esplode a zombie's head from a hundred paces.

"Grab a gun or a locker and make yourself useful," Tex remarked at the new kid. "And if you're a pacifist, I don't want to know."

She lifted the PPG. "This is all I have. Extra energy caps ready to go, but I'll grab something from the weapons locker if there's any spare."

Tex tilted her head and studied the gun. "Nice, haven't seen that one before."

Victor ran in with Walter, looking around for someone who could explain the war zone outside.

Victor showed him the cricket bat. "This'll do for now. Unless you think I need something better."

Whole Blair was busy making barricades, Victor took a scarf and tied it around his torso like a sash. There was no way he could wield the gun and bat at the same time, so he slid the bat between his back and the scarf, making an effective sheath.

"Okay, I got a better weapon," he told Walter, buckling the holster to his waist. "We should go see if those things are getting closer."

After escaping the monster at Logan's house and regretfully leaving Logan and Angel behind, Lee carries the sleeping Molly into the gym, followed by a limping Parker and dazed Cally.

Parker grunts, then curses in Italian, while Cally gives her a long-suffering look. " Sounds great."
