When class met today, Hannibal had a sketchpad under one arm, and was dressed in a jaunty and very Italian suit and hat. Not that the students could probably tell the difference. He was also in a very good mood for a number of reasons, only one of which was their destination.

Okay, technically ruins themselves didn't bother Kanan, so much. And the ones that did hadn't even been ruins for as long as this place had likely been. But there was something about toppled monuments carved in stone that rubbed him the wrong way.

They were becoming a more and more common sight back home, taking the place of Jedi temples and other testaments to the Order's place in the Galaxy, taking the place of a history that he'd only barely belonged to.

Precious little of any of that actually read on his face, but that didn't mean Kanan was any less anxious to leave at the end of today's class anyway.

"Plenty of things bother me," Kanan replied, keeping his tone light, even if it did sound a bit forced. "This, at least, I can walk away from."
