Townies. Only Townies would think of feeding a person to a tiger. Tiger diets were complicated, and most of them were more interested in a cow or sheep than a living person, and only a Townie girl would rather her lover dead than just go around an inconvenient marriage.

This. This was why Ada was never going to really truly understand city people.

This story probably made more sense to Lucille than to others, considering some of the gothic romance novels she had read. If anyone wanted to discuss this with her she wouldn't mind doing so.
