A girl and her pig were absolutely going to peruse the contents of the picnic table, yes! In fact, Mabel was preparing two plates; one for herself, and the other for Waddles, who was trailing along behind her, watching what she was doing with keen piggy interest.

"One cucumber sandwich for me, one cucumber sandwich for Waddles! One big handful of Cheese Boodles for me! And one for Waddles!"

It was only fair.

"You," Dipper admitted with a sigh. "Fine. Look, I haven't broken my promise since then. At least as far as I know. Doesn't that count for something?"

Mabel gave Dipper a scrutinizing eyeball for a moment before relenting with a sigh of her own.

"Yeah, fine. But I mean it, Stan is a terrible indicator of what anybody should consider normal. I mean, unless you also think that everyone here drinks prune juice and reads Gold Chains for Old Men Magazine."

Dipper paused and then realized that yes, she would look good in chains.

"Yeah she would," Dipper agreed. "I have a class with her this semester. Should I bring some to her as a gift?"

"Definitely," she settled on. "I mean, if you can afford to. I bet she loves presents!"
