Nathan wasn't really fond of getting shot with guns, paintball or otherwise. So, he made sure to gear up and then contemplated hiding for the entire time.

Kathy got into her gear quickly; after Agent Washington's class last session, she could probably get in and out of paintball gear in her sleep.

Once Bond gave the okay, she dashed into the preserve and found a decent-sized tree to climb, settling in to wait for the pair in yellow to pass by.

Too bad for you, Kathy. Ringo had met you before! She wasn't sure she'd actually be better than the older girl, but she did suspect that Kathy would go for the high ground.

So she made it a point to mostly stay in cover and keep her eyes scanning upward.

Of course Kathy would go for the high ground! It was the smart thing to do!

Fortunately, the summer foliage was thick and Kathy had hidden herself in it pretty well, keeping herself nestled near the trunk, perfectly balanced on the soles of her feet. She peered down at the ground, trying to spot any movement that seemed incongruous with the regular wilderness...as best as she knew, which, admittedly, wasn't much.

City girl, after all.

Wait--was that movement in the bushes?
