Was it surprising that someone with Emily's upbringing had never done anything besides drinking herself silly? Probably.

The hat-chewing action was a bit hard to ignore though.

Goose had no problems with not taking drugs, especially since he knew what something like caffinee did to his system, he didn't want to think about what the other substances would do to it.

"It's something different than the routine, so it's interesting. And it's prohibited in most cases because it's harmful, I guess," Emily said easily, as she probably knew a lot more than she should about the whole thing. "Different drugs having different connotations sort of make sense when you consider what kinds of archetypes are related to them: Marijuana to reggae singers, ecstasy for rave parties and so on. But I'm not too sure about the others."

The only thing Emily was addicted to was something sweeter when served cold.

And it wasn't ice cream (which she might or might not be slightly into anyway).

But the TA was there.
