Getting Out of Tight Situations- Period 5- Class #11

Apr 03, 2011 21:47

While Jaina was more than happy to wake up as herself this morning, at her own real age, she really didn't like that she didn't remember every detail. (And when she found out that others might remember everything? Yeah, that'd be fun.) She'd woken up early, tried to start training like normal, and basically failed so spectacularly at distracting ( Read more... )

Eye others in the class warily, look straight ahead and don't pay attention to anyone, admire your lack of wrinkles, what have you.

Bobby was going to stand off by himself in a corner, looking rather unusually sullen. He didn't remember a lot of the details of the weekend, but there was one thing that he remembered pretty clearly, and it bothered the hell out of him. And the fact that it bothered him? That bothered him too.

So, stand off to the side, try not to think about it, end up brooding. Excellent plan.

Ender would pick option number two, please, with an option on 'trying very hard not to look white as a sheet'.

Bruce had a strong suspicion that something had happened this weekend. He wasn't sure what, but it was definitely something.

Head into the Perk to place and get your order. Feel free to mod NPC patrons staring at you, pointing, laughing, confronting you, looking like they want to kill you, etc.

As very much not in the mood he was for, well, any of this, Bobby was actually pretty good at dealing with people pointing and laughing. It sort of came with the territory when one spent a lot of time deliberately trying to incite that very reaction.

And so it was with a very carefully crafted appropriately mirthful grin that he placed his order before explaining to everyone that he so hoped they'd enjoyed the show last night, it had all been planned from the start, and to answer your question there ma'am, yes, they'll grow back eventually.

Bruce strode up to the clerk and ordered, in a voice loud enough for the staring people to hear, "Coffee and a pastry for anyone who isn't staring or laughing at me right now. I'd like to have a talk with anyone who doesn't get one."

No, that wasn't a threat. Why would anyone think that?

Like Cara hadn't walked (or more correctly sauntered) into a hostile room before?

Her raised eyebrow made it quite clear that anyone who had a problem with her might soon have several more painful ones as well.

Bruce just got beat up by a zombie bank robber a couple days ago. But at least he knew that happened and nobody else did. Especially since any bruises were under his shirt.

Take that, Island.
