Here was a usually tense and bombastic teacher who was obsessed with big explosions... acting calm and collected. This week.

Bruce had been hoping for a good lesson on smoke bombs. As handy as other explosives would be in his future, smoke bombs definitely fit in better with his specific kind of fight training.

The only bad thing? He found his eyes drawn to Kūkaku's... figure more often than usual. That slowed him down a little.

"Time's up!" Kūkaku called. "You're done, that's all the bombs you get for this activity,and we ain't even going to the Danger Shop for this one because you're bombs shouldn't be big enough to worry about, right? Because what we're gonna do today is a nice little game of Hot Potato."

She smirked, and now it probably is clear where the usual Kūkaku had been hiding. What could she say? She'd been inspired by earlier this week.

"Basically, it's a game of catch, but with a lit bomb. Pick a partner, light a bomb, pass it back and forth and try so you're not the one holding it when it goes off. If you do have it, you lose, you're out. Switch partners until there's a last man standing, or just keep going until ya run out of bombs, and whoever has the least Hot Potatoes goin' off in their hands wins ( ... )
