This was something Jon was really good at, that whole Black Ops thing came in handy sometimes. He might be a little rusty, but it was coming back pretty quickly.

By the time the exercise portion of the class came around, Gabrielle had come up with four different sets of codes.

All of them were ridiculously overcomplicated; she got carried away far too easily when she was enthusiastic about something.

Valentine hit up the examples, jotted down a few codes of her own, and then spent some time considering the challenging one. If some of the greatest coding minds didn't stand a chance, she held no delusions of grandeur that she'd be able to do anything with it, but it could be fun (or incredibly frustrating) to try.
