One half of the buffet table today was covered in Valentine's Day candy. Heart-shaped lollypops, the gamble chocolate that came in the heart boxes, Hershey's kisses, Red Hots, those fake candy lips, those candy hearts with the words on them and all sorts of other moddable types of candy. We have two pound boxes of strawberries, bottles of French berry lemonade, and vanilla cake mix and organic cherries on display at my grocery store for Valentine's day. Not a damned bit of Valentine's chocolate in sight. . . .

Of course, we still have dark chocolate covered everything that we sell all year round, so. . . . it balances out.
