The class had been ever-so-handwavily asked to gather in an all-purpose room for the day, and when they got there they'd find collapsed tables, collapsed folding chairs, and other moddable science fair supplies, as well as thick binders containing notes from all the semester's experiments

Jack chose to study, which sort of surprised him, as the "skip class" option sounded so much better, but his grades pointed to "study".

Ino had sugar in her hair, was still slightly sparkly from yesterday even though a shower today had gotten rid of a lot of it, and was humming as she helped set things up.

So, yes, she was totally here!
