Jack was slumped at his desk, chin resting in his hand. He managed a smirk at the Alpha Centaurians, and gave a low whistle of appreciation for Chairman Mena, but other than that, he just sat there.

Jack wasn't moping, exactly. But he definitely wasn't his usual cheerful self as he gathered up his stuff and started to leave, nodding at the Doctor as he walked past him.
