Okay, so if I have some characters and they want to drool over football players, who would they go nuts over?  Who would be admired for being badass, or just sweetly quirky?  Or... if I had a character who was really into the technical aspects of football, whose footwork would he or she drool over

for the best players in general, check out real madrid's lineup :P they have the best players, if not the best team.

Well, if you want to establish your character as only shallowly involved in football, saying that s/he likes David Beckham is ALWAYS a good bet. :P

after asking my brother who's more insane than I am about this - Schweinsteiger, Rooney,etc... the younger guys are more likely to do the fancy footwork (the older ones just wanna get the job done, the young 'uns are more likely to show off :P)
