And the battle, wow, so very vivid. And their joy at surviving, so perfect and beautiful.

Oh, this is awesome. I love Castiel's voice here, and how entranced he is by Sam and Dean. I LOVE how determined he is to protect them both, and not just Dean, because I believe that to be true about him. Lovely story, thank you! :-)

Normally I don't like fics of this length (one of my crazies) but I really enjoyed this. I can totally imagine Castiel being curious about hugging, and he picked the perfect moment to hug Dean, when he was too happy not to be all macho and push him away.
Anyway, this was great :D
