Dean asking Castiel if he's okay is the simplest and sweetest thing in the world. I love how Dean understands Castiel through thinking of his father. I love their father parallels in general.

Castiel being so lost and confused just makes me want to hug him. Though Dean sharing his apple pie with him is way better than any hug I could ever give. ♥

And then they DO hug, oh my god, I love this fic so much, I can't even tell you. Dean and his hand flexing and his chick flick moment and letting Castiel know he's part of the family. Jesus, the ending, I was so afraid you were going to break my heart and have Castiel go back to heaven, but now I am just so happy. This one is even more feel-good than the others, the perfect ending to the series. I love it
