Is it only for public fundraising and not private?

I think either is fine. If it's something you're convinced is legit enough to promote here, then that's fine by me. I'm not endorsing any of the fundraisers, just providing a space for people to promote and browse. In other words, if you think it fits, then go right ahead. It's up to individuals to decide if it's something they'd feel comfortable participating in/donating to.
