Sorry for the spam, but I just wanted to pass on some important information:

I've heard from two different donors that the Australian Red Cross website is indicating that donations haven't been successful, when in fact they have been. Just beware of this if you're donating via this site. Maybe check your credit card statement before attemtping to ( Read more... )

I'd like to donate to Oxfam Canada, since I've had good experiences with Oxfam in the past and the Canadian government is matching donations. Would you consider adding this to the approved list? http://www.oxfam.ca/emergencies/philippines-typhoon-emergency-response

You might want to add Catholic Relief Services: http://emergencies.crs.org/typhoon-haiyan-help-philippines-survive-and-recover/

The Philippines is a heavily Catholic nation, and CRS already had a presence on the ground there.

This is the NZ animal welfare organization, they are currently in the Phillipines and are taking donations directly for this cause at the above link.

Thank you for doing this. Another organisation is NAFCON. They're a grassroots group run by Filipin@s for Filipin@s.
