As most of you have probably become aware, the Philippines has been devastated by the fiercest typhoon ever recorded, with over ten thousand people already feared to have perished. This fundraiser will only feature the BUY IT NOW option. There will be NO auction option at this stage.

Could I buy a place holder book binding?
My epic is still being written and probably won't be finished until next year sometime...so if I could donate for a place holder, someone else could still donate for the immediate book binding?
Would you be ok with that?

(May I ask - what fandom are you writing the epic in? This is just to satisfy my own curiosity as to what I might be binding, if you bid, so no worries if you are not yet ready to reveal that!)

I just wanted to check, is the 50k a technical stopping point? Because I have a fic that is really annoyingly just the slightest bit over 50k (52,170 to be exact) that I'd love to bid on this for. Would I be able to throw in another $5 or so to cover the extra or would I need to edit it down to 50k exactly for it to work?

Depending on what you want, and when you want it, I'd be happy to talk about doing a third book for the auction, this one for you. The 50k isn't hard-and-fast, I just had to put a limit on it somewhere. (So if we went ahead you wouldn't have to edit it down.)

May I ask (if you want to pursue this) - what fandom do you write in?

I'd be happy with it as it comes, simple cover, any font or layout. Whatever is easiest for you. I also wouldn't mind waiting for it until you have the time to spare. It would just be amazing to have a tangible book of something I worked really hard on :)

The fic I had in mind is for BBC's Merlin.
