While fandomaid will not be running an auction fundraiser for the Boston Marathon victims, we still encourage our community members to make donations if they are financially capable

A bunch of fandom groups in the Boston area (Whovians, Sherlockians, Nerdfighters, Homestuck) have come together to help raise money and awareness in the aftermath of what happened at Copley on Monday. The group is here (https://www.facebook.com/events/454231464659096/) and I believe people from other states have been reaching out to help, too.

All proceeds from that are going to The One Fund (http://onefundboston.org/) which is, I guess, where they're requesting donations.
