WOW!

Seriously, WOW!!! I am so freaking impressed right now. I think this is, quite probably, the best Neal introspection I've ever read. There are some lines in particular that really stand out... such as:

He is a stranger in a strange city, but that's okay - he is a stranger everywhere else as well.

Which, first paragraph! Way to suck me in right there!! I was seriously sold from that point onwards because it convinced me beyond doubt that you 'knew' the character whose head you were in.

I'm honoured that you wrote this for me. I freaking LOVE it.

I love the way to tell the evolution of Neal through his art. I especially loved the insight you give with regard to the Adler part. And his 'relationships' with the girls... ALL OF IT!

SO GOOD!

Thank you!

You're welcome! I'm so glad you liked it. :D

I don't think we get to see enough of Neal's art in the show, which is sad, but I was glad of the opportunity to get to write about it! I think it deserves more exploration than it usually gets on the show and in fandom. Do you mind if I post it to my AO3? I'd like to have it available there as well as on lj.

It was heaps of fun to write, and I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. You did such good work with the auction, I'm really glad to have been able to give you something back. :)

Here by Rec from Waltzmatildah. I've just recently gotten into this fandom and thus far I haven't found many fics that I just outright love. This is definitely one of the few. Your language is so lovely, the characterizations, the imagery, everything is wonderful. The prose reads smoothly, like poetry. I loved every single last word of this.
