Jellee, once satisfied that her decks and equipment were set up just as she liked them, looked around, and noticed Greta coming towards her, drinks and hookah pipe in hand. She winked at her and held up a speaker of her headphones to her ear and set the vinyl to play.

No way was Murdock gonna miss a party. He even got dressed up in a suit (a kind of frumpy one, true) and changed the ball cap out for his black hat.

He wandered around with a club soda, grinning like a fool.

It was an awesome party!

Greta patted the beanbag beside her, offering Murdock to take a seat. "Hello darling. You're looking fabulous. Did you and Winky straighten out your socks?"

"Aw, thanks," he smiled as he sat down next to her. "We sure did. He's gotta unpack first, but I told him I wasn't in any rush." His eyes passed over her. "You're looking absolutely wonderful yourself, if I may say so."

Greta winked at him, "Flattery will get you everywhere, sweetheart."
She leaned forward to grab the pipe connected to the hookah, put it to her lips and inhaled deeply. After blowing smoke rings, she held it out to Murdock. "Want a puff, Alice?"

After much protest Bella eventually dragged Buffy downstairs to the party. She ordered them two cocktails and found a beanbag for them to share. Bella promised Buffy they would stay for just an hour. Poor dear, she really did look tired. Lighting a cigarette for both of them, she put her arm around Buffy. "Welcome to London, Poppet."

Buffy snuggled down into Bella and sipped her cocktail. "Hey, this isn't as rowdy as I expected. Its quite nice." She leaned over and took a drag off the cigarette Bella had lit. "I'm wide awake now," she said before yawning.

Bella smirked into her drink. "Oh yeah, you're wide awake indeed." She pressed a soft kiss to Buffy after she took a sip of her cocktail. "Wide awake and ready for action?" Her eyebrows wiggled.

Buffy giggled. "You're incorrigible," she said, smiling. She took another sip of her drink and began tracing little patterns on Bella's thigh. "So, will you be taking me into Diagonal Alley tomorrow?"
