Tenth Doctor "pinstripe" yarn (aka, "When you give a geek a spindle . . .")

So, I was looking at my spinnable fibers, and realized that I had some brown and some pale blue wool.

What else was I gonna do with it? )

Thanks! I had the idea and my sister had the technical know-how -- I'm very pleased with it.

Aw man, that is so nice! I just bought so much blue roving... If I wasn't already using all my brown alpaca for a friend's belly dancing costume... the possibilities!

Great consistency, I can never keep my twist even, drop or wheel. I'm going to go be grumbly and jealous now.

Heh -- well, if you pick up a little red roving , you could do a blue!Doc yarn (I'm actually in the process of spinning up a little of that color combo, too, just for fun). :D

Thanks! I've been messing with this stuff for over 5 years now, and I'm only just starting to "get" it, IMO. At least with a drop spindle. Wheels are a little intimidating (also expensive and floor-space-eating, but maybe one of these days . . .). :)
