I posted the announcement, created the donate page and the store ... we're all set!

Now we just need people to find the site. If you haven't pimped the campaign yet (or maybe you have and don't mind doing it again), perhaps today would be a good day? Or, Thursdays when you post your rerun reactions? Or, Tuesday because it ends in 'day.' ;-)

I drafted something up really quickly today, but I didn't have a chance for others to review. Want to give it a peek/critique for the future?

I have to agree with this. Getting the "okay" from the charities themselves before starting the donations is probably the better way to go about this. Especially since not everyone involved is old hat at gathering donations.

The letter looks good though. The official site for SPN on CW would be a nice touch. Especially if the donations managers for these charities aren't familiar with the show.

Also I like the shirt design posted earlier. My only issue is using the quote "Saving people, hunting things, the family business" (though it is a brilliant quote to use in this case). I realise that lots of people use quotes on the CafePress "stuff"; I even do that. But lately, the issue of copyrights has popped up. Not directly with any fandom, but I was wondering what the rules are in this case? Perhaps this should be checked out.
