Willow: Hello Fandom! This is Willow Rosenberg, reporting to you with all my parts in the appropriate places.
Xander: Is there some reason they wouldn't be?
Willow: Are we going for something other than 'We live in Fandom'?
Xander: Yeah, good point. Parts do seem to migrate a lot around here. Some people's parts, anyway.
Willow: This is what I'm saying. Ergo, I am happy to be me. As me. All of me. With no spare me-ness.
Xander: Or spare -- hey, that rhymes.
Willow: ...what does?
{Long pause}
Xander: Booze, which the squirrels are toasting us with. It rhymes with news.
Willow: Oh! Well then let us choose to cruise through the news!
School! Which is cool!
Art of Cool watched an Awesome move. I don't believe I'm familiar with that title. The
students didn't seem interested in listening which I think would only be a full-on problem if it wasn't a movie so much as it was a radio program. Oh! Like this! Hopefully you're listening to this. And in class too. Do not think I am condoning class-ignoring, because that is so not happening. Which is why I am now frowning in
Romeo's direction, since he valued napping and note-passing over class-doing. For shame!
Xander: I, for one, am shocked and disappointed.
Willow: Perhaps this is why
Ron was all cranky. I couldn't tell you why nobody talked to
Barney or Tink. Well, I could try but our radio show has a time limit. Sure it's not so much a limit as it is more like guidelines, but still.
My Country dealt with some
kind of fish crisis. The noble nation of Gremlinistan feels that fish sticks can solve many problems.
Xander: They're excellent for demonstrating Slaying techniques! Not on real vampires, though - the 'stick' thing is only an advertising gimmick.
Willow:
Yondaime is there for chatting purposes.
Art History studied the art of
documentaries.
Naminé apparently had an accent of some sort - other than the one over the E in her name, one assumes, since she used it while talking to
Steve.
Karal did his library opening thing. He takes
Evey into Special Collections. Look out for the genie! Check your nails!
Xander: Try to be back by graduation!
Willow:
Inappropriately Named Club plays with jumbles. But in a Zen-like fashion as there are
no actual jumbles to be found in this jumbling.
Romeo gets Adah's notebook. If you ask me he should apologize for the mixup and immediately give it back.
Evey asks Karal if he's okay. Oh dear, so they did run into the genie. Well, at least the polish comes off.
There was the
Cheerleader Fashion Show! Making it work with a rah rah rah and perhaps even a sis boom bah of some sort. The cheerleaders
got their outfits. Which is good because without them it's just "Show" and that comes off as kind of braggy.
Savannah tells Brooke everything looks great.
Chad is happy to have a jacket. Which leads me to wonder if it was very cold there or if the only thing Chad had was a jacket.
Lana doesn't want to give the clothes back, which isn't showing so much as stealing.
Annette apparently agrees with Savannah's sentiments for she hugs Brooke. Either that or we're talking about girlkissy, and I think we can all agree that Brooke can do much worse. Actually I think she currently is.
Mr. Captain of the Lame Team didn't have to shave his legs, which I think we can all agree is of the good. Then there is
OMGNO and I am just not reporting that. I think everyone can understand why.
Xander: ...We can?
Willow: Look at what the note is about!!!!
Xander: What, the...oh. Willow, I love you, but you have issues.
Willow: There's
mingling and
audiencing.
Dojima tells Romeo she should've gone out for cheerleading. Maybe next time?
Lana sends some kind of secret coded gesture to Lucas.
Savannah thanks Wyatt. For what I do not know so we'll say maybe he told Romeo to give Adah her notebook back. Savannah then
welcomes everyone.
Aly has her advisor thing going on.
Brooke then introduces her line and does not once use the word 'fleurchon' to describe any parts of it. Then
Ami,
Annette,
Chad,
Demyx,
John,
Lana,
Naomi,
Prue,
Rikku,
River,
Savannah,
Seely,
Z, and
OMGSTILLNO. There is
aftermath, and
Brooke is understandably happy.
Annette keeps her fierce look going as she tlaks to AJ.
Lana also has the good mood fever as she talks with Lucas. And
John enjoyed himself as well. Possibly because of not having to shave his legs.
The
office is open and drinking like squirrels.
Professor Mohinder also has office hours, but is possibly sober.
Xander: Did they actually call him Professor Mohinder? Are we sure these are our squirrels?
Willow: I maybe paraphrased a little.
Xander: Good call. We've got time guidelines, after all. So this would be me moving on to the --
Dorms: where the students live. Most nights. If they don't have boyfriends in town.
In news that's not about the cheerleader fashion show,
Johnny was worried that Savannah... who's a cheerleader, wasn't up to... walking in the fashion show. And then they done sex. I don't know if that last part's true, but at least it's not about the fashion show. In conclusion, I obviously need to read to the end of the note before I pick a lead-in.
Let's try again. In news that's not about the cheerleader fashion show,
Sky straightened up his room,
Karal's cat jumped someplace and then Karal and Evey made out, and
Annette painted her toenails. I don't know if any of that's news, but it's definitely not about the fashion show.
Willow: In other non-fashion show news,
Ino plants her seedlings so that they may grow. Assuming she wasn't putting them in the ground as part of a funeral.
Harriet stops by to say howdy. Only not literally since I'm pretty sure Harriet doesn't talk like that.
In the
common room that, I'm sorry, was never cool or related to being the center of the universe, Adah and her bunny make coffee. That is a very talented bunny! Adah shares her coffee with
Johnny and Johnny plays with the bunny to say thanks.
Jeff tells Adah that the ceiling is not his girlfriend, and I am sure both Turtle and the ceiling are happy to hear that. And, really,
OMGSTILLWITHTHENO.
Xander: Issues, BFF. Issues. And speaking of people with issues...
Town, where you wouldn't believe the hours that one pizza place on the mainland will deliver
I'd say the most important piece of town-related news today is that
Parker is evil, except she's not in town and if that's news to anybody, you've clearly never met her. Also in the not-exactly-earthshattering category would be
Cable brooding in his apartment. Who do you think would win if Cable and Angel had a brood-off?
Willow: Angel. He's had way more practice.
Xander: Good point. Cable has cooler hair, though.
Slightly more news-like is
Mary and George-Michael having second thoughts about their wedding, and Christian opening the clinic and having hot ga-- Very funny, guys. Where's the real note?
{pause}
Christian opening the clinic and
doing paperwork. Okay, I liked the fake news better.
Willow: Why do you want Christian to have hot gas?
Xander: ...So he doesn't catch a cold. The clinic can get drafty.
In more lack of news, or at least lack of visitors,
Sora,
Eve,
Chad,
Sky,
Gabriel and
River had a quiet day at Turtle & Canary, the York Gallery, Groovy Tunes, the banana stand, the church, and the Arms Hotel.
The other Arms got some traffic, though -
Rikku opened Wellspring, and
Romeo came in to tease her. Then
Reno showed up so Rikku could get her bzuh on over his new wardrobe. Actually he probably just showed up to say hi and the bzuhing was just a spiffy bonus gift.
Lacey - did you guys know she's technically an alien? -- opened Luke's Diner, and
Mike Cannon came in to flirt. Or possibly for lunch.
Willow: How is she technically an alien? Was she born on another planet while her Earthling parents were on vacation?
Xander: Close; she's from Toronto.
Liir opened the Book Haven, and
Andrew came in with lunch and flirting. He didn't bring any of either of those for
Bridge, who stopped by to compare projects with Liir, but y'know, I'm kind of fine with that. There's leftover pizza at my place, anyway.
Fai opened Cafe Fina, and
Biff came by for -- hey, more bzuh. Bzuh for everybody! This time it was baby chicken bzuh, though, which is like clothes-bzuh, but cuter and fluffier.
Tino took the night off work at
Caritas, came back in as a customer, and then got behind the bar anyway. Purely as a favor to me so I wouldn't feel left out of the bzuh-having.
Cable came in for a beer, and
Charlotte had her own bzuh at him for being in there on the same night as her. Hey, it's a big bar, plenty of room for everybody! She also talked to
Jolee about the whole migrating body parts thing. And how last year they, uh. Traveled the other way.
Willow: Sometimes? I am not so sad about graduating.
Xander:
Jen opened Pizza Planet with
her boss and talked to
Sky about...pretty much the same thing, minus the last year part because neither of them was here for that.
Willow: Which I'm sure they're very sad about. Is that all we have for notes on news?
Xander: We used up all the news. All that's left is the booze.
Willow: There's no time to lose, let's go home to snooze. Good night, Fandom!
