MEMO

This is NOT aimed at any 1 person or anything. It's just something that came up last round and has a bit this one too. Especially since LJTalk is here.

When submitting nominee emails:
Please don't just put someone@livejournal.com. Check their userinfo for an email.

If it says:
Email: someone @ livejournal.com -or another address, that's fine. But please don't assume that as they have an LJ they also have LJ email.

If it says:
LJTalk: someone @ livejournal.com -That doesn't mean they've selected their LJ email account to be active. LJ made some changes and added LJTalk and if the user hasn't changed their setting, that shows up by default.

If there is no email on the info, see if they have a website, there should be contact details there.

If not, as long as you can provide an LJ username and they have one unlocked post on their journal I can contact them at their LJ.

If I just email them @livejournal.com and the account isn't active it'll just bounce back and the nomination will be void.

Thank you.
