Janeway, Scully, and Garcia are my hardcore unshakable females. I also really love Emily but I'm not grooving on her hard just at the moment. ...Apparently it's redheads, guns, and FBI. o.O Huh ;-)

Because I'm curious to see what others think, what are your thoughts on the Criminal Minds fandom at the moment? What do you think of Season 6 so far? Are you planning on watching the spinoff?

And just so this post isn't totally CM-related, have you been following House this season, and if so, what do you think about what has happened?

I am watching the spin off.

I don't have a problem with S6 as a whole. I dislike the Emily arc right now in as much as I'm failing to give a shit about it, but otherwise I'm okay with it. There are a few entries about it a bit back.

House I. Jumped ship on this season. I hate the Cuddy crap more than I have words to express. I watch for the medicine, not romance. I know that feeling isn't universal, and I'm not bashing anyone who's into it but REALLY not for me.

I'm not too keen on the Emily arc either, since it's not holding my attention like some of the other character arcs have. Coupled with the feeling that it's going to end badly, I'm just not that into it. S6 has been pretty decent so far, as long as one avoids all the hatred in the fandom at the moment.

I totally understand why you jumped ship. While at first I didn't mind the House/Cuddy focus, it is starting to drag the season down a little. And I'm still ambivalent about Thirteen's replacement, Martha Masters. She's come off as a rather annoying Mary Sue, but the idea of her getting into a relationship with Chase has me reconsidering...but anyway, I do wish they'd start to focus more on the cases again.

Yeah, pretty much that. I just don't watch TV for romantic subplots, and when romance starts to take over the drama my brain just shuts down and moves on.

Absolutely fucking hate.

Sex != Gender.

Sex change fic by magical means != Gender switch. My problems start there and just snowball.

Do you feel the same about always-a-girl sort of switches?

Gender = Sex. If they can explain if it's the external sex characteristics or the GENDER that's supposed to be switched and follow that through, sure.

As it stands they assume they give the guy a cunt instead of a cock and they're a girl and it *doesn't work that way*.

Scarecrow and Mrs. King. (Most of the stuff I dont' watch is either still on but in a format I don't like or I watched so long ago I don't really *miss* it.)
