Every now and again something comes along and smacks me in an episode that makes me go "Jack is telepathic" or "Owen is telepathic." Usually it's around weevils - or a blob thing. This episode beat me about the head and shoulders with it.

I'm NOT NOT NOt claiming it's canon, but hot *damn*.

Even *before* the bit with the big ol' alien, when Jack grabbed Gwen to keep her from following Rhys, and got in her face and told her that she would listen to him, I was all a;sldkfj what is he doing? Because I'd swear he was doing a little more there than using his presence and his voice. And then with the alien, of course.

And yeah, Owen, too. 'Cause he's got something going on with the creature, and with the weevils, too.

I was spoiled for some of this episode, and I can't get over how much better it was than the spoilers made it sound! I enjoyed the hell out of it. Yay yay yay for Rhys getting some respect.
