Marie had wandered from her shelter, after making sure everything was covered up for the afternoon rains. She made a note to herself to look for a drying spell. She was going to need one for sure. She wondered if she needed to use air with fire, if fire would work alone.
But first, she needed to keep an eye on the fire, give it a prod if needed. She made another mental note to bring a tarp next time she checked up on it.
The fire seemed to be okay, but she looped back around anyway. As she passed Dr. Jackson, she overheard what he was saying.
After returning their (much needing cleaning due to the damned downpour) firearms to their shelter the brothers headed back through the rain to the butchering area. Curiously, Daniel was trying to peer through the sheets of rain. Moments later Jon and Marie joined him.
Sam and Dean veered their way. As they approached Marie asked, "Someone's missing?"
Daniel rubbed his eyes. "Yes, Isabel." Then he fixed a hopefully look on Dean and Sam. "Please tell me you've seen her."
"Nuh-uh."
"Sorry, man."
The boys exchanged worried looks. Isabel was kind of weird, but definitely on their side and most definitely hot.
Jon grumbled, "For cryin' out loud... Once the frikkin' rain stops I'll organize a search party. Marie, Sam, Dean, when'd you last see Isabel and where?"
(Great just what we need. Or don't need. Another one missing,) Daniel groused internally. He exchanged a look with Jon that said that they both knew the chances of finding her after the rain washed away her tracks were slim.
(But stranger things have happened,) Daniel reminded himself. (We were able to find people at the SGC when all should have been lost.)
"She won't be hard to miss," Daniel said, resisting the urge to discount Marie's help. He didn't know what her skills and talents were, and he knew better than anyone that judging a book by its cover wasn't a good idea. (Especially here.)
"Tall, blonde -" He stopped himself before saying 'buxom,' because while true, he wasn't sure that Marie wouldn't take offense or label him a sexist or a pervert, "Curvaceous," because it was true, and separated Isabel from the almost emaciated model-types, "Very attractive."
Also alien and pretty powerful which only underscored the disturbing fact that she was missing.

"At breakfast," Sam volunteered.
Dean finished, "At the cookfire."
