OOC: Hey! You've stolen the title of my (not yet written and probably never will be) novel!

Well, I still have the sequel title: Resistance is Feudal.

Listen here, little missy! If you've got time (and energy) to pelt me with rotten fruit, you've got the time and energy to post to Adult Swim. So get cracking!

Romana rose early, pleased with the previous night's discussion with Peyton. The girl seemed to understand something of the strangeness of the situation she found herself in now, and would hopefully consider Romana a friend should she need any help later on. Romana didn't like to think of her alone and adrift in this bizarre camp - she was too nice for that.

She left her hastily-constructed shelter, thinking that today might be a good time to add a bit more reinforcement to it now that the basic structure was proven, and was drawn to the sound of people talking. She soon encountered Molly and River, emerging from their shelter. Molly sported a T-shirt with the slogan "Sidhe Who Must Be Obeyed" on it. Looking at her, Romana realised it was almost literal - Molly was definitely a Sidhe.

"Good morning," she greeted them.

When Martha awoke, she was alone. She wasn't surprised. Ten didn't need sleep, and in a way his absence was something of a relief. Her pride still smarted from last night's conversation and she wasn't quite up to seeing him this morning yet.

"You and Rose have a good talk?"

Martha, settled down with her hands tucked beneath her cheek and eyes closed, opened her eyes to look at him. "If you're so interested, you didn't have to stay away."

Ten snorted. Glasses on, he peered at the contraption that he was working on. She didn't know what it was and she didn't ask. "Learned a long time ago that the safest place to be when two women are nattering is far away. Especially when you're the subject of said conversation ( ... )

"Good morning. I'm putting some water for tea on. I have a selection of dried herbs if you like." She banked their little fire back up from embers and set a battered teapot next to the flames ( ... )

(OOC: see what happens when you reply to mail before checking posts? Shall we assume Martha joined in after the first response? Thanks.)

"Molly Green." Molly held up her hand for shaking. Standing wasn't much of an option with long, pale fingers yanking at her hair.

"I'm Oona. That is River." Oona inclined her head towards the teen.

"I'm being morbid." River offered to Martha with a smile.

"Pull up a sitting rug. I'm heating up the kettle. I can only offer herb tea, I'm afraid. I collect regular tea, but it's dried over by the coffee." Molly explained.

"Caffeine allergy." Oona plaited and twisted, tugging a very tight, and neat, pair of french braids. But she had left locks of red loose and those she began braiding as they talked, making a woven hairnet and snood of braids.

"You two in on the big migration today? I heard several people were off to see the little blue box that could, this morning." Oona looked at the two newcomers.
