We all know what pouring is, so this should be easy. ( But it's not. )

Poring over someone's pores is an activity usually reserved for dermatologists, not exoarchaeologists, but your example is a good one! Poring over one's OWN pores is of course a common activity carried out daily by acne-cursed adolescents, and generally requires a mirror rather than a magnifying glass. :P

True, but I was mainly referencing facial acne (which does tend to enlarge the pores somewhat) and contrasting the required methods with the OP's post. :-P

Thank you for taking my suggestion & posting an entry on pour vs. pore!

Every time I saw a writer bugger it up, I mourned that there was nowhere I could link to to give them a clue. Now there's a page. :) :) :)
