Who can resist vlogbrothers examples. :D

This is a lot to take in and I will certainly break lots of these rules in the future. Especially the comma in front of an "and" when I list things, cause I was so often instructed that we should not do that.

Actually, using or not using that comma is a style choice. Either is technically correct, you just need to stay consistent. ;)

That probably doesn't apply to all the other commas, does it? It would make my life so much easier if I could just choose to not have style in regards of commas. ;)

I think the comma in front of an 'and' when listing items is an American usage. You don't see it in use here (UK) - it would be considered unnecessary.
