That said to me too - but try this. Go on report abuse button logged out. And then, there, while you're on that page, log in (in upper corner) and then Refresh...
Best part? I tried to report abuse earlier due to harassing comments in my LJ -- didn't work! Kept saying I had left the form blank when I hadn't. I had to email support, which then forwarded it to Abuse.
I get that too. It's the standard Report Abuse page, and isn't new as far as I know. The Content Flag page (the one I linked in last comment) is the one for certain categories and is very new.
So, okay, great - this is the abuse page, but how does one get to this page? Isn't there supposed to be a one-click button at the bottom of each post and/or comment that gets you to this lovely, rife-for-wankage-type-abuse page?
I found it at the bottom of the page - but not when you just come to someone's LJ. I saw it when I click on, let's say, Lj-cut (that white space) AND I saw it only when I was logged off.
They probably got my IP adress...(because I reported them already...)
Huh, look at that - you only get the "report abuse" link at the bottom of the page when you're logged out. Now, honestly, what is that saying? That they are discouraging LJ account holders from reporting abuse and encouraging non-LJ account holders to report it?
Right?
Or could there be another reason for only displaying that link when you are not logged into LJ?
Granted, I'm probably seeing commies in the shadows now, but this is all feeling very odd.

But there are some great screencaps of it floating around... Pretty images. Very crisp and clear. I can't quit looking at them...
