Typical Sunday night at the clinic. There was a TV on, an alien at the desk (though sometimes he was poking around in the cabinets and organizing things), and things were quiet. Hopefully they would stay that way, even if it meant a night without any company for Stark.

Stark was sitting at the desk, as he usually was on Sunday nights. The TV was on, which was also usual, for background noise.

Wednesday's day shift normally belonged to Doctor Wilson, but he was off the island for a few days and so Stark was filling in. It made a nice change from construction work, if only because it was a little warm to be working outside (not that he really minded the heat) and the clinic was air-conditioned. Stark had spent the all of Friday regretting the massive quantities of alcohol consumed Thursday night with Anders. He'd then spent all of Saturday recovering from Friday. Relieved to find the clinic quiet and empty tonight, unlike last week, Stark settled himself in at the desk and hoped the night would remain quiet. The TV was on, as per usual, though he wasn't watching so much as staring into space. He seemed to do that a lot lately. It went well with the muttering.

Once again, Stark was in the clinic and trying to keep himself busy enough not to think. So once again, he was cleaning. Actually, he was sorting things in the cabinets and occasionally muttering "your side" at them while he moved them.
