FTEC, Sunday [10/3]

Oct 03, 2010 13:08

Ellie was at the clinic like she usually was on Sundays. It wasn't as though she had visiting family members to spend time with. So she was there if any medical emergencies occurred. Or if anyone wanted to hide from their family members for a few hours.

Chuck was very purposely not hiding from the one family member on this island. Instead going out of his way to come to her and bring some pastries from the brunch.

After spending time there being reminded of last year, it... felt like just the sort of time to check in with Ellie.

"Hey," Ellie greeted. "Assuming you're here to visit?"

She just wanted to make sure he wasn't here for a medical reason.

"Visit only," Chuck assured her, holding up the paper plate of pastries. "No emergencies, just danishes."

"If you're up for that." Which he'd hoped she might be, since she was stuck here. "Family sort of day, so I thought--"

"Oh good. I prefer danishes," Ellie said with a grin. "And spending time with family is good, too."

She figured he might have been having issues with this weekend as well.

Santana had wrenched her shoulder a little, at Cheerios practice a few days ago. And while stretching with Brittany earlier had helped, she was used to being able to score a painkiller or two off her dad.

So, naturally, she figured a new clinic might take pity on a pretty visitor, and wandered in, massaging her neck. It was worth mentioning, of course, that she was in uniform. There was always the chance that Coach Sylvester would meet their plane later. "Oh my god, is this the clinic?" she asked as pitifully as possible.

Ellie glanced up at the girl in the cheerleader uniform. That did not look like the uniforms of the Fandom cheerleaders. She figured she must be visiting someone this weekend. "Yeah, can I help you?"

"I hurt my shoulder at cheer practice," she said sadly, rolling it painfully. It wasn't that bad, but painkillers were fun, okay. "Do you think you could give me something for it?"

"Hmmm, I can get you an ice pack," Ellie suggested, not sure if she wanted to give her a painkiller. "That should help ease the pain."

Brittany had followed Santana, but she figured she probably shouldn't take any more painkillers. (She'd been rather sternly warned away from them, after what happened the last time.) So she'd just hang out in the waiting room, reading Highlights.

She thought Gallant was so dreamy, but she'd rather make out with Goofus.

Her lips moved a little as she turned the pages.

[OOC: Just establishy.]
