Ino wasn't too impressed by the whole… having to be at work thing today, no. Which wasn't the fault of work, rather it was just that she was feeling clingy and ( Read more... )

Emma was most definately still there, completely unconscious and undisturbed by anything going on around her.

Bobby had eventually admitted to himself last night that there was nothing he could do at the clinic and so had gone back to the cabins. The morning, though, saw him with Sookie along for moral support ducking back into Emma's room at the clinic.

"Hey," he greeted the still form on the cot. "I know I said this already but- I'm really sorry."

After Karla had finished healing everything that needed to be healed, Emma sat up and made her way out to the front desk.

"Miss Yamanaka. What sort of bribery must I offer you to go sleep in my own bed tonight?"

It should be noted that Emma was not above lying.

Ino arched her eyebrows, glancing up from her book--oh, was it that time already?--and giving Emma a long once-over.

"Considerin' everything I've been feeling," in a vague way, as Ino had been less than willing to obtain another headache over this, "I got to admit, the idea of bribery does sound good."

Hmm.

"Don't know what I want, really." Which was, well, not quite a lie. She had a few ideas, but they were all on the scale of 'that's probably something she/they don't want to talk to me about'.

She was, after all, just the clinic minion here.

"You know, playing dumb works a lot better when the other person isn't a telepath," Emma pointed out. "Spit it out, Ino."

Blah, ugh. There's an e-mail (re work) that irritates me today, so I'm not going to work on the matter, ha.

Hahaha, I do that all the time. If I don't like the email, THAT ISSUE CAN WAIT TILL I AM READY.

:) Exactly that! I'll either get the urge to do it this afternoon so I don't have to look at it tomorrow, or I'll just put it off for a day or two. It is not urgent, therefore it can wait until I'm in a better mood about it.
