Coming out of exam room 1, Lee nods at Dr. Wilson, bleary eyed and looking pale. "Dr. House will probably have notified you that Kara Thrace's in there with a sports injury," he says dully. "I'll be back later to see her, I think," he says before moving out the door.

House had notified him before the older doctor had settled in to spend a long night worriedly trying the phone and fretting, so Wilson wasn't surprised when Lee appeared.
He'd been about to inquire after the young man's health, as Lee looked whipped himself but the man was gone before he could get the words out.
Wilson frowned, worriedly and after a moment's thought, made a mental note to move the more comfortable office chair into Exam 1. He knew what hell it was to sit by the bedside of someone you cared about and not be able to take away their pain.

Wilson had peeked in on Jack back in the morning but as the young man appeared to be resting comfortably, he hadn't disturbed him. He'd read over DEATH's notes with a bit of a frown, but had made a note to check and see how Jack was today and go from there.
So as the morning wound itself into afternoon, Wilson once again knocked lightly on the door and poked his head into the room.

"No dizziness, headache, nausea of any sort?" Wilson asked as he walked on into the room and over towards the young man.
Reaching into the pocket of his labcoat he pulled out his stethescope and tucked the buds into his ears to warming it on his hand before he moved to take Jack's vitals.
"Hey," she said softly. "Listen, I don't know how to..."
"I need you to come back to your apartment. House is okay," she said quickly to reassure him. "I think it's his mom. He said he's flying out in the morning, and he's been crying."
At his anxious look, she said quietly, "He needs you."

At the words 'his mom' Wilson's doctor instincts took over, rolling back to the conversation a couple of days ago.
Nodding, he flipped off the light without a backwards glance and began to move down the hall. As he passed her, he gave Lisa's shoulder a grateful squeeze.

He remembers coming in last night. He remembers talking to the thin air that was apparently the clinic staff.
He remembers showing up for school. But as far as he can tell, he still can't remember anything from September 8 to December 11.

"Wilson? Wilson?" she called, trying not to sound too strained and alarm him more than he needed to be.
