Martha had been very grateful for the quiet of the clinic yesterday. They hadn't had many zombies come to try to get in - the nurses had been quite fierce, and Martha could only imagine that word had spread - and the lack of patients had made Martha start to wonder if they'd get through this whole thing with everyone being all right. Ronan -- later than he'd normally be, but still fairly early -- dashed into the clinic. "Oh, good," he said, a bit breathless and spattered with zombie gore. His sword fair dripped with it. "You're here. I was hoping someone would be."

Martha immediately started looking him up and down for injuries, and was quite happy to see all of his limbs still present and accounted for. "Are you all right? You look like you've been having fun."

"... Is it bad," he said, "that I actually have been? I mean, I feel bad for everyone, and it's horrible, but it feels so good to be able to let loose again.

"Anyway, I was just stopping by -- I'm heading out to the preserve, to join the volunteers there. I just wanted to make sure things were okay here, first."

He may have been taller than Arthur, but he was nowhere near as bulky. That became abundantly clear when Merlin dragged him on into the clinic as best he could with Arthur's arm over his shoulders.

"Is there anyone here who can help?"

"What happened?" Martha asked as she went over to them, focusing on checking the unconscious one for injuries first.

The hair on the back of Arthur's head was matted by blood right now. The cut was relatively shallow, but it was enough to keep him under for a while.

The rest of him was covered in equal cuts, and something that might have gotten close to being a broken bone in his arm.

He was also rather heavy and unconscious. Poor Merlin.

Arthur would've resisted that analysis if he wasn't knocked out and bloody. He'd get to that part later. As it was, his body was very grateful for something flat and comfortable to lie on, which it rather promptly did as soon as they got there.
