FTEC, Wednesday, Evening Shift [Dec 5]

Dec 05, 2007 19:03

After his fun weekend away visiting Parker (an unexpected side-trip of which had delayed his return), Ronan whistled as he bustled around the clinic before settling at the front counter.

"It's snowing!" Isabel grinned as she came through the doors. "Isn't it great?"

Ronan merely grinned, and then whistled a few bars that sounded rather like "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas."

"Exactly," Isabel agreed. "Although I refuse to get my hopes up for a white Christmas as nice as that would be."

She set Ronan's hot chocolate on the counter and carefully opened the lid on her own. "Your's is plain. I went for mint for myself tonight. It's like drinking a Girl Scout cookie."

Exam Room One - Thursday Next hotceltogoth December 6 2007, 02:32:29 UTC
Ronan brought Thursday in, leading her carefully where she floated at about waist height; as she moved to hover over the examination table, he released the spell gently, leaving her to settle down onto it. He moved swiftly around the room, moving to apply pressure on the wound, placing a bandage over it and applying pressure, trying to get the bleeding stopped enough to do some more serious work on it.

The shot had been intended to harm rather than outright kill Thursday or even kill her before she had a chance to get some medical attention. Still, she had lost enough blood to be dangerous to her health. The pressure had been applied before by Sam Winchester and although it had started to bleed again, the pressure Ronan was applying was enough to slow the flow and get the blood to begin to clot.

As he saw the bleeding slow, clotting, Ronan pulled out the small blade he kept handy for times like these, slicing down the heel of his left palm, reopening the thin scar that existed from previous healings.

Blood pooled in his palm, and he began speaking the words of the healing spell, drawing out the pain, drawing out the knife, doing what he could to close the wound and replenish Thursday's own blood.

All at once, it was done, the bullet itself resting in Ronan's palm next to the scar, which was once again thin and healed. The bullet-wound itself was closed, slightly puckered, the pink of a new scar.
