Steerpike managed to stumble in mostly under his own power, despite the rather nasty looking burns clearly visible across the left side of his face and the fact that the left shoulder of his jacket just might still be smoking.
There's a distinct possibility he was accompanied by John and Zoe, but we'll make no assumptions.

After making sure that Steerpike made it inside, Zoe contacted the troopers, while John called Sam and Dean. It was only after Zoe had been handwavily assured that the fire would be dealt with that she let John take her into the clinic, coughing as she looked around for the doctor.
Steerpike was still mentally berating himself for getting injured during his grand scheme, when he wasn't too busy just thinking "Oh my god it hurts!", so he followed Christian to the exam room without comment, or quite any sense that he had much of an idea where he was or what he was doing.
"Went for a walk," he muttered again. "Saw the flames. Came to help."
Christian guided Steerpike to lie down on the exam table. As a plastic surgeon, he'd treated burns before, but they weren't generally this fresh. "How badly does it hurt?" he asked as he carefully started to cleanse the wound. A lack of pain would actually be a bad sign, it would mean the nerve endings were destroyed.
Christian got out his stethoscope and checked on Zoe's breathing. "How much smoke were you exposed to?" he said. "Are you having a lot of difficulty breathing? Or just the cough?"

That was his story and he was sticking to it.
