The squirrel in the bushes outside the clinic was playing Solitaire.

Ooooh. The squirrel perked up as D walked into the clinic. News!

If D had any idea what was going through the squirrel's mind, she'd think it was a wee bit demented.

But she wasn't telepathic, or fluent in squirrel, or even, ya know, aware the squirrel was there, and as such went on her merry way.

After a handwavey phone-call, D found her way down to the clinic.

It wasn't that she'd been avoiding following up with Janet after the long and slightly fatal trip home... she'd just been busy.

Ok, yeah, she'd been totally avoiding it.
