After checking on the patients in the Clinardis, Christian settled at the front desk, hoping for a quiet day.

Conner didn't like doctor's offices, or clinics either for that matter. But he had to check up on Lana, and he had a few questions to ask.

Conner tried very hard to ignore the hi, totally freaktastically disturbing resemblance this guy had to Bel, because that was a depressing train of thought. It wasn't working very well.

"Well, I'm here to see Lana, but I had a couple of questions first, if you don't mind?"

Liz had, had another sleepless night. After giving up trying to fall asleep Liz opted for lying in bed and staring up at the ceiling. She sighed, she wished she knew what was going on.

Christian waved Rory and Luke into the room. "All right, electrocuted?" he said. "How did that happen?"

"I got hit by lightning," Luke told him casually as he sat on the exam table. "A couple of times. The Emperor back home wasn't happy I turned down his job offer."

"So he called down lightning on you?" Christian said, somewhat amused. Kid was probably covering for something else, but who was he to pry? He checked Luke's pulse, heart rate, and blood pressure. "Your vitals seem good," he said. "Heart sounds strong. Do you have any burns?"
