After spending a quiet afternoon walking on the beach, Wilson had gone back to the apartment to enjoy an early dinner with Aziraphale before he packed up his briefcase, kissed the angel...kissed the angel and headed out the door ( Read more... )

Dr. Wilson had said two weeks for the brace, so Nadia was back after two weeks almost on the dot to find out if she could stop wearing it.

Impatient? Maybe a little.

Wilson looked up from his reading and smiled.

"Hey there, Nadia. Let me guess, checking the status of the shoulder?"

Nadia nodded. "Yes, sir. I think it might be okay. I've barely even had to ice it since last week."

Shutting down the windows on his laptop he pushed it to the side, then stood up and waved Nadia into his chair.

"How about pain or discomfort? Any numbness in your arm or fingertips?"

Aziraphale had missed having his weekly supper in the clinic with Wilson, and so at some point in the evening he stopped by Ching Tai and picked up several cartons of assorted vegetarian dishes. In addition, he had a thermos of green tea, and some cookies that were left over from Friday's Prophecy class.

Breezing in the door, he gave the young doctor a bright smile as he set everything on the desk. "Your dinner, James love. How has your evening been so far?"

Wilson jumped a little as he'd been fairly well focused into his laptop and he blinked as he saw the angel come bouncing through the door.

"Hangover gone I take it?" He teased gently as he pushed the laptop to the side to make room for the cartons of Chinese food Phale had brought through the door.

"Well, I rather thought I deserved to suffer a bit, for a little while at least. But once I started just feeling sorry for myself, I figured it was time for the hangover to go. And..."

The angel gave a little one-shouldered shrug, as he set about unpacking the food. "I suppose I'm just awfully happy to be back. I only wish I hadn't ruined it by picking fights two days in. I'm sorry, love, and I hope you're not too angry with me."

"I did get you a new toothbrush didn't I?" He pointed out as he began to break into the containers, making pleased noises at the yummies he found within each.

Reaching out to grab a chair for Phale to sit in close to him as they began to divy up the food, Wilson waited until after the angel had poured out the delicious smelling tea and they were both contentedly munching, feet tangled under the desk to peer at his lover curiously.

"Um...Raphale...do you think that it's a fairly safe bet..." He began, paused and chased a water chestnut with his chopsticks, then looked back up with a little smile. "I mean...do you think we could convince Above to leave us here in Fandom as a base for the next couple of years?"

Lana stopped in, shoulder still immobilized, and looking a bit nervous. "Hi, Dr. Wilson."

Wilson looked up with a bright smile on his face as he heard Lana's voice, the smile slipped to an expression of concern as he got a good look at her.

"Lana?" He asked worriedly, standing up and moving around the desk to greet her.

"I'm really sorry I didn't make it in to see you on Wednesday," she said apologetically. "And I tried to look for you Thursday, but I hadn't quite figured out that I couldn't take the pain meds and still function, so I just ended up in bed and Friday... well, without the meds it was a bad day so I just went to work and then came home to rest. But I meant to see you!"

Setting his hands on his hips, Wilson eyed Lana with his firm, you want to tell me everything, you know you do doctor stare.

"Lana...what happened?"
