Spending Thursday with Nick hadn't been what she'd planned to do, but the fact that she had definitely agreed with her. The air between them was clear -- at least for now. She frowned at the screen, and tried to imagine Nick opening that particular gift. Nah. Probably already has one. Shaking her head, she gave a sigh. What did one give a multi-millionaire vampire for Christmas?

Logan was resting, knowing he'd be going home as soon as Thursday came by. He was looking forward to being in more homey surroundings.

Lana came in with her Martha Kent. "Mrs. Kent," she said carefully. "I'd like to introduce you to my Mrs. Kent."

Martha's eyes widened with astonishment, then she looked over at Clark who had followed them in.

"Clark," she said.

"Sorry Ma," he said. "You were asleep every time I was in here before." He looked at Lana uncertainly. "I uhm, I've come across, a way that might help." he explained, and produced the Kryptonian Crystal. "I'm told that, if both you, and Uhm, Martha hold it, then, sort of her healthy, er, essence should merge with yours and make you better."
