The coming winter made Natalie feel, well, alive. She could feel the cold, and could sense the approaching darkness; she was enjoying every moment of the evenings as night grew longer. Pippi (gently) kicks open the front door and enters carrying an unconscious and possibly muttering incoherently Walter.

She was out of her chair immediately, rushing to meet Pippi half way. Her eyes went wide and she immediately -- more out of instinct than necessity -- reached to check his pulse as she led the way to an exam room. "What happened?"

Walter's pulse is racing, his temperature is in danger of cooking his brain.

"We're not entirely sure. Pippi explaned. He was apparently part of some experiment when he was younger. He was complaining of headaches and was really grumpy. Nadia found him and called me. He's really hot and he was convulsing for a bit but then it stopped."

Zuko was bored. He'd even put on the television, but that turned out to be confusing so he quickly turned it off again and went back to his book, trying to actually read it instead of just watch the pictures.

Nadia came in after placing a quick phone call to Alfred, just in time to rush after Pippi and Natalie to the exam room. She arrived just at the tail end of Pippi's statement. "I know some stuff. What was the question?"

"Has he been to the clinic this week for the fever or headaches this week?" Nat was already reaching for the digital thermometer, and grabbing out some IV shunts. She would also need some of the instant ice packs to try and get his fever down.
