FTEC, Sunday Evening

There were people in the clinic tonight, which was a change from recent weeks, though not really a pleasant one. After a quick check to make sure everything was all right with the patients, Stark settled in at the desk. The TV was on, out of habit, but very quietly.

Marie was napping after her busy morning of visitors.

[I'm guessing since Jamie's player hasn't been on that it's safe to assume Jamie's still sleeping in her room...]

After seeing Kira off safely to her bus, Conner had finally gotten a chance to catch up on what he'd missed the past week, including everything he'd missed yesterday. One particular bit of news from the radio podcasts had him off to the clinic in a hurry.

He'd missed the early crowd, it seemed, which was probably good.

"Hey," he said quietly as he slipped into Exam 1.

Zuko was still weirded out about the amount of visitors he'd received during the day. And the gift. He liked his gift so the book was carefully put to the side of his night table as he finally gave in to his body's need and went back to sleep.

After her afternoon nap, Marie decided she needed to see for herself that Zuko was okay, so she snuck out of her room and down the hall to his. When she saw that he was sleeping, she turned around to leave, but tripped over the chair and nearly fell, making enough noise to wake him up.

Zuko startled awake, the heart monitor showing a jump in his heartrate as well. His fist was aimed at Marie, but he quickly lowered his hand as he realised who it was.

"You're alright," he said, the statement quickly followed up by another. "What happened to your hair?"
