Title: there is a point when tears don’t work to wash things away anymore Author: gidget_zb Rating: K Wordcount: 1,108 Summary: "None of it will happen now."
Oh, God. This is BEAUTIFUL. The most magical words in the universe are hearing from you "i posted a fic".
Her wiring everything, and her hands lingering, and this couple, alright. Also, personal head canon that it's not just Amy who brought him back - because of course seeing the diary made her remember, but it's when the tear fell on the diary. And I like to think that was part of River's doing as well.
I just like to give River credit for all the things, I liked the idea of her planting the seed in his head for his conversation with Amy. And her bringing that diary was TOTALLY her contributing to bringing him back. WHICH I LOVED. River Song arranges for her own conception, birth, life and death bitches. That is some god damn dedication to a life well lived right there.
This is all part of my head canon now. I can definitely see this conversation taking place between them in the framework of this episode. Even though I know everything will be OK, my heart kept breaking for River throughout it all. I was very tickled that the last message he sent was to her.
I wish we could see this on TV, why can't we have a moment like this? Sigh, so beautiful. AK made me watch the show and made me love her character, but YOU made me fall in love with these two and I can't thank you enough. ♥
(and if you have more ideas for those missing scenes, please please write them, I love the beauty of your writing!)
Ah, just beautiful, it fits so perfectly within the episode. Have to say I am in total awe at your creative output of loads and loads of really quality fic!

The universe actually cracked the day that she was born. And she managed to be born anyway. THAT is some dedication.
